Do I have to pay to be chosen?
No. For tenants, Llavely is free, always: no subscriptions and no payments. You receive unlimited invitations, chat, view and sign without paying Llavely anything. The landlord sees all candidates sorted only by match.
Can I write to the landlord of a property?
No. On Llavely tenants don’t write to anyone or race to reply first: you create your profile and the landlords and agencies with properties that match you invite you. If you accept an invitation, you can talk inside the website.
How do you verify tenants?
We check your identity (DNI or NIE with a selfie) and your income using the documents you upload. If something doesn’t add up, a member of our team reviews it. We delete the documents as soon as they’re verified, and the landlord only sees the result.
Who sees my payslips?
Nobody but the verification: we check your documents and, if something doesn’t add up, a member of our team reviews them. The landlord sees the result, for example “income verified, the rent is 26% of your income”, never the document.
Where are rentals open?
In the provinces of Madrid and Barcelona you can already create your profile, list your property and send invitations. In the other provinces, join the waiting list with your areas and we’ll email you the day we open yours.
Which areas can I search in?
Rentals are open in the provinces of Madrid and Barcelona: by municipality, district, neighbourhood or postcode. Your search can also include areas in other provinces: we’ll let you know the day we open there.
What kinds of properties are there?
Flats, penthouses, duplexes, studios, lofts, houses and villas, terraced, semi-detached and country houses, for long-term, seasonal or room rental.
Can I upload more documents to stand out?
Yes, if you like. In “Strengthen your profile” you can add your employment contract, receipts from your previous rental, a reference from your landlord, the defaulters' register report, your employment history, a savings certificate or a guarantee, among others. It's optional. The landlord only sees the badge (for example, “Payments up to date”), never the document, and we delete the file after verifying it.
Can I see the exact address?
Before accepting an invitation you see the approximate area on the map. The exact address appears when you accept.
Can I stay anonymous?
Yes. You choose whether the landlord sees your name, photo and video before or after you accept their invitation.
